The 1166 Bluetooth Rugged UHF RFID Reader is a high-performance mobile UHF RFID solution designed for demanding environments. It delivers reliable RFID read/write capabilities and supports a wide range of host devices via Bluetooth® connectivity.
The reader offers interchangeable 2D barcode scanning modules and can achieve a read range of up to 15 meters, depending on configuration and tag type. With batch mode operation, it can store millions of RFID tags and barcode records along with date and time stamps, ensuring efficient offline data collection.
Built for continuous use, the device features a high-capacity battery that supports all-day operation. It can be used as a standalone reader or paired with smartphones and handheld devices using a convenient press-lock mounting system, creating a unified, one-piece solution.
Designed for tough environments, the 1166 is IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof, and built to withstand multiple 2-meter drops and extensive tumble testing. It is compatible with existing TSL software solutions and supports multiple operating systems including Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, WinCE, and Windows platforms.
Additionally, the optional docking cradle enables charging of the reader and spare battery, along with direct USB data connectivity via the onboard microSD card.
