The print head is the wear part that decides your print quality. As its heating elements degrade you see faded printing, white lines down the label, missing dots and barcodes that stop scanning first time. Replacing the head restores the printer to factory output rather than nursing it along at higher darkness settings, which only shortens its life further.
This is a direct drop-in module with the correct connector and mounting for the printer, so an engineer can fit it in minutes. We also supply the platen roller, which should be inspected at the same time – a worn platen will damage a new head.
